Friday was the notorious Unum Nashville Office Party. We had heard that this was a great get together and was sure to be a great deal of fun - we were definitely not let down! The evening started with a huge spread of food and "mingling" which turned into the hazing, I mean annual office tradition. For the past few years at the Christmas party, all of the new employees from that year have to sing a song in front of the entire group. Needless to say, the newbies are anxious to get the "tradition" over with. Brent and three other co-workers had to participate at this year's party by singing in front of the group. Brent had been planning for about 2 weeks on how he would perform and finally settled on one of his favorite songs - Dolly Partons Hard Candy Christmas. Complete with a costume, Brent definitely did not disappoint with a great combination of humor and talent. Needless to say, people were rolling with laughter. After the performances, we had a little dirty Santa gift exchange, which if you have ever participated, know they can be a great deal of fun! Thong panties, the movie the Dark Knight, empty gift cards, "Santa Dollars," iTunes gift cards, a ceramic angel statue and a serving dish were among the night's gifts.

Needless to say, it was quite the event! We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Brent's coworkers and have made a few friends as a result.
