Will I ever be on time again??

So we're on day five of Gabbie's little life in this world. So far it's been rather adventurous. We're still getting used to a schedule with a baby, but it's going great. I've decided for sure that I have to start giving myself another 20 minutes (or more) to get anywhere on time. Today we had our first pediatrician's appointment and it went really great other than the fact we were 20 minutes late. Thankfully they were very nice and didn't even comment on my tardiness. (this is my kind of place!) Not like anything could have really changed from 3 days ago when we last saw the pediatrician in the hospital, but hey - at least we're careful, right?
Fletcher and Fiona are still getting used to their new little sister but I think they finally understand that she's not going anywhere. Fletcher's life has been threatened if he barks at another passing bird and I think he gets it finally: he just ran to the door but didn't bark, then looked to me as if to say, "I remember...no barking or you're going to kill me..." (because I have said that to him in the past 2 days)
Fiona's acting as if Gabbie is one of her own - watching my every move with her and making sure I get her if she's crying. Both of them are really funny to watch their reactions, but I think even they are sleep deprived: they're napping with Brent as I type.
Thank you to everyone who has called, sent emails, stopped by for a visit and signed up to bring a meal in the coming weeks! We really appreciate ALL of you.
I have uploaded 2 albums to the right of pictures my sister and I took while we were in the hospital. But my best friend Brittany has already created a beautiful slideshow of pictures she took on Sunday at the hospital. It is amazing - she's coming in town this weekend to take more, so I'll be sure to share as soon as they are available. You can check out all of her amazing work at www.moncriefphotography.com
Thanks again, Everyone! Now back to mommy duties...
