Kelly: "My brother from another mother"
These guys are like 2 peas in a pod. Here, they are demonstrating a wide variety of 'knuckle' bumps. The top one is "parallel parking" and the bottom one is in a garage...
Needless to say, these 2 are very entertaining around each other.

On our back porch!

Fi-Fi trying to be one of the girls...Cherie and Fiona bonded on Saturday night after she consoled Cherie with her sun burn..

We were in a shoe shopping mode - here, we take a moment to think of a great friend from TVFCU: Carla. She LOVES shoes - especially really cute, impractical ones like these Betsy Johnson ones!

Cherie really wanted to go out with us on Saturday night. She even bought some adorable "Betty Boop" shoes and decided that even though she wasn't going out with us, she was still going to put them on and lay on the couch. ha ha

(evidence of her sunburn is seen here with her little lobster legs - ouch!)

Melting Pot!! YUM

Kelly and Cherie from Chattanooga paid us a little visit this past weekend! We had so much fun hanging out.

We started the weekend off right by eating dinner at Cheesecake Factory in Green Hills (yay me for finding it, that is, with a little help via telephone from Casey)

We spent Saturday at the pool laying out in the sun - it was a gorgeous day and oh so relaxing! Unfortunately, Cherie forgot to put sunscreen on her pretty little legs and my little redheaded friend got fried. She suffered through walking in Opry Mills Mall (awesome shopping by the way) but could not endure long enough to go downtown with Kelly, Brent and I.

We left Cherie at home in the company of Fletcher and Fiona and headed downtown for another adventure beginning at the Melting Pot restaurant (yes, AGAIN) and ending with a crazy night in one of nashville's many "night life" spots.

Sunday was another day of "Nashville Firsts:" we went to this amazing flea market that takes place the third weekend of every month at the Nashville Fairgrounds. We found EVERYTHING imagineable at a flea market and had a great time.

The day was wrapped up with a three hour shopping trip to Old Time Pottery in Murfreesboro where Kelly and Cherie headed back to Chattanooga, while Casey and I went back to the apartment-o for some yummy grilled hamburgers and tater tots: our weekly tradition with the "2 Sappsters."

Fun Things About the Weekend:

1. "That's What She Said" times 1,000 (literally)

2. Flinging food at passersby at the Melting Pot resulting in watching an awkward conversation among a pony-tailed waiter and one curly-headed friend.

3. Betty Boop shoes on fried lobster legs

4. Smoke Alarms

5. Stand Up Comedy Routines in the comfort of my own home.

Thank you girls for paying us a visit: Brent and I both thoroughly enjoyed the time you were here!!

We hope to see you again VERY soon in Nashvegas.

Love the hand gestures. I would love to have seen Kelly and her brother from another mother in action once again!
